Band of Horses' Hook: Hip-Hop Style

After sitting down and listening to three entirely separate songs, I realized they all had the same basic melody/hook. I understand artists sample each others beats on a frequent basis. What impressed me most was the variety with which the same beat could be applied to distinctly different songs.

Here's the breakdown:
